We offer a lightweight and extremely durable aluminum multifunction frame designed for mounting on the left rear doors of MAN TGE, Volkswagen Crafter 2 and Volkswagen Grand California vehicles. The construction was designed with camper, expedition and service vehicle users in mind, who need a modular transport system with high durability and low weight.
The frame is available in a single universal version suited to vehicles of this generation.
✅Four-point mounting system increasing stability
The frame is mounted directly to the rear door hinges using machined stainless steel bolts. Additionally, two mounting holes in the vehicle body are required. This results in a total of four mounting points, which significantly increases its strength, stiffness and ensures safe use.
✅Hinge compatibility
The product fits hinges that open up to 180 degrees. For hinges that open to the side (275 degrees), a minor modification or replacement with a 180-degree version is possible, which is a simple and quick procedure.
✅Modular mounting plate system – full configuration freedom
The set includes three types of aluminum mounting plates that can be freely configured and mounted on the frame:
- Two-row plate
- Three-row plate
- Four-row plate
The system allows flexible adaptation of the build to the individual needs of the user.
✅Possibility to mount a spare wheel
The frame can be equipped with a dedicated adapter for mounting a spare wheel. This way the construction can serve not only as a universal platform for mounting various accessories, but also as a solid and practical spare wheel carrier.
The solution allows convenient placement of the spare wheel on the vehicle’s rear doors while maintaining the modular character of the whole system. The spare wheel adapter is available as an optional extra.
